Mobile Phone Rules - Calling, Texting and Facetiming
Our Year 11 and 12 girls looked at rules for using their devices today and created posters to help us all remember how to use our devices safely and with respect.
Don't share other's personal details without their permission
Only text, call or Facetime once - if they don't answer, they are busy.
If you keep texting, calling or Facetiming, they might get annoyed and angry and even block your number.
We made a general rule that contact should be limited to between 4pm and 7pm but families have different rules about mobile phones and devices - follow your family rules
Don't sleep with your phone in your room - it is a distraction (Maybe get an InCharge Box like we have at school? https://www.inchargebox.com.au/)
Don't contact others in the morning - everyone is busy getting ready for school
Talk to a trusted adult if you have a problem and they can always help you
